Too many mothers miss the greatest gift of life by never saying "I love you" and never showing gratitude or pride in their daughters. The daughter's body seems to grow out of the earth with gnarled branches and rocks. She, like her need for acceptance, is universal and timeless,reminding all of us that no matter how wonderful a woman's life may seem, she is first a daughter who needs her mother's approval and love before anything else has value. The gift she offers upward is never acknowledged so she keeps pleading "mommy please, please take my love and honor my existence with that simple but priceless phrase "I love you".
