BIG RED FLOWERS

A large, 48"x36", vibrant and colorful expression of my love of flowers. The play of light over the surface is a joy to see. Taken from the image of Impatiens from my wife's garden and given a bigger than life view of translucent petals and greens of the surrounding leaves. Acrylics and pigments were applied with my signature glazing technique give this large work great depth.
